Routine Activities
Avoid remaining in one position for extended periods of time. Change positions frequently, at least every 20 minutes if possible, while staying within your mobility limits. Consider using a timer or app to help you make moving a habit.
If you are sitting, stand up periodically. Walk around or march in place, if possible.
If you are lying down but not planning to sleep, roll over or get up periodically.
Movement during sleep happens naturally and is not a concern.
